Directions From Kingston Train Station

At Kingston train station there are two exits. Use the Richmond Road exit. Turn right and walk to an under passage. As you walk along, follow a wall on your left-hand side. When you come to the end of the wall, you will feel with your cane some vertical line markings on the floor that inform you that there are some steps. Do not go down the steps but follow the vertical lines until they end and then turn left.

Go forward in a straight line. It is a very open space but try to walk in a straight line. You will find crossings marked on the pavement with bumps on your left and your right but do not use them. Instead, keep going forward until you find two planters with trees in them. Walk between those planters. Keep walking until you find a bumpy mark on the pavement that indicates a controlled crossing in front of you. This crossing is directly opposite the Rotunda.

Cross the street pressing the button at the traffic light. Find the entrance to the Rotunda. Keep the Rotunda on your left. Once you pass the Rotunda, keep the wall on your left and you will pass the Cornerstone Pub. Continue walking with the wall on your left, or if it is easier, you can follow the ridge from the cycle lane on your right. There will be gaps in the wall but do not turn into them.

The first gap is a garage entrance. You will pass Prizm on your left and then the second gap is an alleyway. When the cycle lane finishes, you find a wall which is part of Wilko. Rather, continue straight on with sound of the traffic on your right. You will find a second crossing but ignore it and keep the traffic on your right. You will pass an apartment block on your left. Once you get to the end of this block there will be a light controlled crossing. This is a double crossing, meaning that there is an island in the middle of the road use the light-controlled crossing that is straight ahead but slightly to the left.
